The HealthyRoast® Process

Most coffee beans lose much of their natural, healthy antioxidants like chlorogenic acid during the roasting process. This is a shame, because coffee’s polyphenol antioxidants help protect your body from oxidative stress—and chlorogenic acid inhibits the enzyme that stimulates excess gluconeogenesis, which can result in unhealthy blood sugar levels. HealthyRoast® helps preserve those polyphenols.

Rainforest Blend is a medium-dark roast antioxidant coffee that comes from 100% USDA-certified organic Arabica beans. Also thanks to the HealthyRoast® process, this coffee is low on acid & easy on the stomach.

All batches of Life Extension products undergo microbiological testing, including yeast and mold, and meet USP standards. This coffee is offered in ground, whole bean, and a decaf: which undergoes a Swiss Water Process to decaffeinate the beans, no harsh solvents here!
